Dryer Fires
Most people don’t realize that lint build up in your dryer vents not only reduces the airflow and dryer efficiency, but can also put you and your family at risk for a house fire. Because lint is highly flammable “US Consumer Product Safety Commission” estimates that over 15,000 dryer fires occur each year, resulting in millions of dollars in property damage. Cleaning your dryer vents ones a year can greatly reduce this risk.

Airflow Restriction
Most people think that cleaning the dryer’s lint filter after each load will eliminate all the lint released from their clothes, but the filter can only catch about 70% of it. The rest gets in your dryer inner body and your dryer vents, restricting the airflow to your dryer, which is dependent on it to draw out the moisture from your wet cloths, so they dry. If the airflow is restricted the air in the tumbler, no matter how hot, gets saturated with water viper and cannot evaporate anymore, leaving your clothes with musty odor. Also the airflow through the lint filter and out the exhaust determines the airflow into the heater coil and tumbler. Restricting this airflow with lint build up can cause the air entering the dryer to be too hot, which can damage and even melt or burn your clothes.

Lint build up signs
If you notice your clothes are not fully dry after one drying cycle or your dryer gets noticeably hotter to the touch that usually indicates lint build up in your dryer vents. Cleaning it will restore the dryer airflow, resulting in reduced drying time, saving you time and money. It will also reduce the chance of dryer fire, since lint build up is highly flammable.

Our Cleaning Process
We begin by unhooking your dryer and cleaning the duct thoroughly from both the dryer hook up point, and from the exit point, assuming both points are accessible. Next we proceed with a deep cleaning inside the length of the duct itself, using a variety of tools to scrub out the lint buildup that may be hiding inside the exhaust pipe. Our goal is to eliminate any flammable particles preventing proper ventilation, and to help provide a clear air flow once again.
